Community Meeting to Plan the Bikeway – Oct. 18 on Zoom

Do you want more bikeways in the Westside? @ladotlivable is hosting a virtual workshop on Oct. 18 at 5:30 pm to provide information on the project and collect community input. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win a free bicycle!

As part of the Westside Mobility Projects, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is planning four bikeways along neighborhoods in the Westside of Los Angeles. The first corridor is located in the Del Rey area beginning at Culver Blvd/Slauson Ave and heading south ending at Bluff Creek Dr/Campus Center Dr.

This corridor is a simple and essential route, connecting Playa del Rey, Fox Hills and Mar Vista to Ballona Creek and the Culver path via Mesmer. Many cyclists use it regularly, so let’s help LADOT get it done right.

There is a virtual meeting on October 18 that will answer your questions and note your support. This is the time to get the details done right, and your perspective is vital.
