On August 31, 2022 at 6:30 am the Culver City Police announced a closure of the 4200 block of Sepulveda Boulevard owing to a structure fire. The Culver City Fire Department was already at the scene, and was able contain and then put out the flames. The fire began outside in the alley adjacent to an auto shop with smoke showing from multiple roll up doors.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. Police announced the road open again at 8:25 am the same morning.
