The Braid to Perform Live @ the Wende

Refused No More: A Theatrical Performance by The Braid, formerly known as the Jewish Women’s Theater, will take place at the Wende Museum on Feb. 27, 2022. True personal stories of the Soviet Jew—the life left behind and the surprising, poignant, moving American journey being forged.

The Braid is the go-to Jewish story company and leading non-profit organization creating, curating, producing, and preserving stories grounded in Jewish culture and experience. Through its performances and programming, The Braid empowers artists and audiences to feel pride in Jewish culture while building community and connection between people of all backgrounds.

Attendance at in-person events at the Wende Museum requires proof of COVID-19 full vaccination and a valid photo ID.
 
Acceptable forms of proof of vaccination include:
  • COVID-19 vaccination card;
  • photo of a vaccination card (both sides);
  • documentation of vaccination from a licensed healthcare provider;
  • personal digital COVID-19 vaccine record issued by the State of California, Los Angeles County, or similar documentation issued by another state or jurisdiction. 
Visitors attesting to qualifying medical or religious exemptions may supply proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours and a valid photo ID.
