Banksy? Indoors? How is That a Thing?

In the long and loud controversy over what is art and what is graffiti, the name of Banksy has risen above the din and stayed there. An anonymous street artist with a British point of origin and an international reputation, Banksy’s guerrilla artworks have been seen all over the world on buildings, bridges and even the infamous wall dividing territories in Israel.

There’s a collection of Banksy’s work being offered in Culver City on Jefferson Boulevard – although whether or not having Banksy indoors is a violation of the spirit or the letter of the creativity itself is up for debate.

There are over 80 authenticated works by the controversial artist at 10113 Jefferson Blvd (Building D), making it the largest collection of Banksy art pieces in the world. The spacious warehouse venue has 22,000 square feet of open-plan space with exposed brickwork and rafters. It’s a perfect place to enjoy famous works including Love is in the Air (Flower Thrower), Girl with Balloon, and Napalm.

Additionally, the venue is extremely spacious, family-friendly, and Covid-compliant. The exhibition has toured 15 cities around the world, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see Banksy: Genius or Vandal? here in Culver City.

The exhibition is on offer through January, 2022.
