Offical Opening of MOVE Culver City Set for Saturday

Get ready for an enhanced pedestrian experience in Culver City! Volunteers started painting the streets this week. Scenes from Culver City’s Ballona Creek will come alive on asphalt at 11 locations along Washington and Culver Boulevards.

The redesign of downtown’s traffic flow has been under discussion for more than a year, and has been implemented in a just a few weeks. The addition of bus lanes and bike lanes will make this one of the most forward -thinking traffic corridors in California.

Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Mayor Fisch, Senator Kamlager and Assembly Member Bryan to speak  in the Culver City Dale Jones City Hall Courtyard, 9770 Culver Boulevard, Culver City

Gorgeous paintings of butterflies and flowers against a rich blue background beautify downtown Culver City, Robertson-Higuera, and the Arts District. These artistic depictions of Culver City’s natural heritage will enhance the experience of traveling through our city. Painting concludes this Saturday, November 20 just before the 10 AM ribbon cutting at Culver City City Hall. The event will officially welcome our community and region to use these complete streets, which include new bus and bike lanes, bus and bike platforms, expanded micromobility services, mobility hubs and more!

MOVE Culver City. It’s how we get there.
