Culver City to Honor 9/11 First Responders with Ceremony at Fire Station One

On the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the Culver City Police and Fire Departments will hold a remembrance ceremony at Culver City Fire Station 1 (9600 Culver Blvd.) to honor the men, women, children, and first responders who lost their lives. Join us as we remember them on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

6:55 a.m. Crews assemble in front of the flag.
6:59 a.m. Time of the South Tower collapse.
7:00 a.m. One minute of complete silence.
7:01 a.m. Flag lowered to half-staff. Bugle plays.
7:03 a.m. Ceremony concludes.

The ceremony will be held entirely outdoors and will follow the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 protocols and recommendations.
