Luxury Grocer Erewhon Market Signs Lease for Culver Steps

Erewhon will be the next tenant moving in to the Culver Steps, and has scheduled to have the doors open in 2022. Often compared to Whole Foods as an upscale/luxury grocer, Erewhon Market signed a lease for a 14,258-square-foot section of the mixed-use building in an announcement July 8, 2021. In addition to groceries, they offer a cafe-style take out and a tonic bar.

Erewhon started life as a ‘health food’ store in Boston in 1980, and currently has shops in Venice, Silver Lake, Pacific Palisades, Calabasas and Santa Monica. Their corporate offices are in Los Angeles.

The Culver City store will settle in with beauty retailer Sephora, sandwich shop Mendocino Farms, and ice cream scoopery Salt & Straw, all of which are already doing business at the location in the center of downtown Culver City.
