“CicLAvia Sundays are coming back!” A statement from CicLAvia’s leader, Romel Pascual, was full of hope for the future of the popular bicycling event. “We deeply believe our return will restore comfort to our community and remind us of the value of public spaces for all. We will announce our upcoming route and date soon.”
The event, which has taken places on various streets throughout Los Angeles County, last took place in Culver City in August of 2015. “Culver City Meets Venice closed streets to vehicle traffic and left the way open for bikers and walkers from downtown Culver city all the way to Abbott Kinney Boulevard.
From Pascual, “CicLAvia reinforces what matters most to us – connection with each other and with our communities. Whether we bike, walk, stroll, skate, or jog, together we will create more incredible moments and experiences.”
