Vox Femina “I Dream a World” – Tickets Available Now

One of the most exciting parts of Culver City-based Vox Femina’s upcoming online concert, I Dream A World, is the collaboration with the Nā Wai Chamber Choir from Hawaii on an indigenous Maori piece, “Oiwi E.”

Nā Wai’s Artistic Director, Dr. Jace Kaholokula Saplan, is known for his work celebrating the intersection between Hawaiian music and choral performance. VOX was fascinated to hear him speak about the meaning behind “Oiwi E,” and the importance of music and movement in Hawaiian culture in general, at a recent rehearsal. But don’t just take our word for it – check out this short clip and think of what it means to ‘dream a world.’

Purchase your VIP tickets to our premiere of I Dream A World on Sunday April 18th at 4PM PST, and join us for our post-concert interactive conversation with Dr. Saplan, VOX’s own Dr. iris S. Levine, and composer Abbie Betinis!
