More Plans for Vaccination to be Offered at Public Health Town Hall on Jan. 19

While Culver City does not have a Public Health Department, all information is reliant on the LA County Public Health; and they are in charge of vaccine distribution. Currently, only healthcare workers are being vaccinated.

Public Health has announced that it will not begin vaccinating people age 65 and older until it completes vaccinations for healthcare workers and receives more vaccine from the State. Public Health does not know yet when that will be.

The City has offered to assist the County with vaccine distribution but we don’t yet know in what capacity that will be. We will share information as we receive it through our coronavirus email updates, which you can sign-up for on the City’s Coronavirus webpage.

Save the date for Public Health’s Town Hall on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. You can submit questions in advance and watch live on LA Public Health’s social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
