Concluding Workshops for Move Culver- Friday, Dec. 4

Culver City does not have the ability to add new capacity by widening roadways. Instead, we need to make our roadways more efficient by prioritizing public transit while promoting sustainable transportation modes such as walking and bicycling to ensure that we can meet our growing city’s transportation needs.

Move Culver envisions a reimagining of our streets as public spaces and prioritizes moving people over cars in the design of the street. Bus riders, cyclists, and emergency vehicles will benefit from increased speeds, ease of travel, and reliability of sustainable connections to key destinations and regional transit connections.

As MOVE Culver City project team actively draws and designs the mobility lane plans, we will make ourselves available to the general public during these days to answer questions, utilizing online conferencing to maximize the ability for the community to “visit” the studio, view design in progress, and interact with the consultant team. Each hour will correspond to a specific segment along the corridor. You can register for any of the studio hours at each link below:
