Wende Online – Razor on Belarus and Contested Elections

The Wende Online continues with a second election-related Cold War Spaces interview this week. Curator Joes Segal will host Dr. Sasha Razor, recent alumna from UCLA’s Department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures, born in Belarus, an expert in Belarusian literature and culture, as well as a journalist reporting on the current protests in Belarus following the contested elections in August, allegedly won by President Alexander Lukashenko. We will speak about the protests, their Cold War roots, and the remarkable role of literature, art and music at the demonstrations.
