“State of Ballona” – Sept. 30

The Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve was acquired by the public in 2003 for $139 million. Noted environmental expert Walter Lamb will present on the status of the restoration planning process that has been underway since 2004, and how the advocates for the wetlands can engage in informed public participation to ensure policies that protect wildlife and provide educational opportunities for the people of Los Angeles.
