It is April 4, 1968, and Dr. Martin Luther King has just been killed. What was Dr. King’s dream to this multi-generational poor family just outside Memphis? They had their own dreams, after all.

“The Dreamers – Resurrection City” is the winner of the Chicago Black Theater Alliance Ira Aldridge Play of the Year, and the Lorraine Hansberry Best Writing of an Original Play Award, as well as the Centerpiece Event 2012 Culver City MLK Day Celebration.  

Christina Harley’s award-winning play will be presented on YouTube today, August 29, at 4 pm  Ms. Harley has assembled a marvelous cast, including Culver City City Councilmember Daniel Lee, who will narrate both the play, and a panel discussion following the play.
