The city is expanding outdoor dining and shopping on Main Street and Culver Blvd in Downtown Culver City with select street closures. On Monday, July 6, 2020, barricades went up on Main Street as part of the City-approved plan for street closures, allowing downtown businesses additional outdoor space to accommodate social distancing. Retail sales and outdoor dining will be allowed on sidewalks, private parking lots, and within designated streets.
The north side of Culver Blvd. from Canfield to Duquesne will be closed to traffic in approximately two weeks, with the exception of a bus/ emergency lane.
This expansion will not apply to Main Street on Tuesdays which is reserved for the Culver City Farmers Market.
