All lanes of La Cienega Boulevard between Stocker Street and Obama Boulevard will be closed to through traffic for the next three consecutive weekends for the construction of a long-anticipated pedestrian bridge. All onsite parking at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation will also be closed.
The 440-foot overpass will link the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook and Stoneview Nature Center across La Cienega Boulevard to the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area.
Construction of the bridge is the final component of the 13-mile Park to Playa Trail, which will connect a network of trails, parks, and open spaces within the Baldwin Hills Parklands to the Pacific Ocean.
Street Closure Dates & Times:
Friday 9 PM – Monday 5 AM
*June 12 – 15, 2020
*June 19 – 22, 2020
*June 26 – 29, 2020
Construction will take place during the day, however, workdays will be long and end late.
Traffic detours will be implemented as approved by #CulverCity and City of Los Angeles.
