2020 Summer Concerts Officially Cancelled

Another summer tradition in Culver City has fallen to the virus; the Summer Concerts have been formally cancelled by the city.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent Los Angeles County Public Health orders regarding large gatherings, the City of Culver City has determined it must cancel this year’s Culver City Boulevard Music 2020 Summer Festival Series. This event was scheduled to be held during on Thursday evenings from July 9 – August 13, 2020 in the Dale Jones Courtyard at Culver City’s City Hall, at 9770 Culver Boulevard.

Traditionally, this popular Summer music festival – produced by Gary Mandell of Boulevard Music – features live music from a wide range of talented performers. “We know the community enjoys our free summer concert series, which is a much loved annual tradition in Culver City. As large gatherings are not allowed due to risks of spreading COVID-19, we hope that everyone will continue to have a safe and wonderful summer,” said Culver City Mayor Göran Eriksson.
