The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact on the financial stability of many Culver City families. In addition to health concerns, many are struggling with shorter work hours or loss of work altogether.
We are gratified by the offers of support for our fellow CCUSD students and their families in need during this crisis.
CCEF is working closely with the Culver Needs Coalition to assist in mobilizing resources to meet needs in our community. We are coordinating with the CCUSD Office of School and Family Support Services, the Backpacks for Kids program, the FeedCulver initiative, and other local organizations that are serving these families.
While Backpacks for Kids and FeedCulver are providing access to food, many families are also struggling with other needs.
Your donations are needed to support the CULVER NEEDS EMERGENCY FUND. Donate at ccef4schools.org to help support your neighbors in need, and note “Culver Needs Fund” in the Additional Comments section.
This fund will be used to help CCUSD families with basic needs:
Diapers, Personal Care, and Hygiene Items
Housing Expenses
Medical Assistance
Cleaning Supplies
Other Basic Household Items
