Walk/Don’t Push the Button – Culver City Goes Hands Free at Select Intersections

Pedestrians, No Need to Press the Button at Certain Intersections – In an effort to reduce the number of surfaces pedestrians must touch while out and about, the Public Works Department adjusted the timing at some traffic lights. Effective today, the walk signal will appear automatically at the following intersections:

All of the downtown signals
Landmark/Washington
National/Washington
Overland/Jefferson
Overland/Culver
Washington/Culver
Elenda/Culver
Elenda/Washington

Pedestrian buttons at the above intersections will be covered, indicating that they have been automated.
