California Air Resources Board will hold a community meetings in February 2020 for the study of the Baldwin Hills area and the Inglewood Oil Field under its SNAPS program. This meetings will focus on discussion of a short-list of potential air quality monitoring sites, a health analysis overview, ways for the community to get involved in the study, and next steps for the Baldwin Hills SNAPS study.
Monitoring of neighborhoods near the Inglewood Oil Field is anticipated to begin during Summer 2020. Public input received throughout these meetings will be critical to identifying parameters for the study that are important to the community members in this area.
