At the January 27, 2020 City Council Meeting, Steve Palmer, Vice President of Van Scoyoc Associates, provided an update regarding the City’s Federal legislative advocacy efforts related to the noise and environmental issues surrounding the Southern California Metroplex NextGen Project.
On October 16, 2019, the Quiet Skies Caucus met with Steve Dixon, FAA Administrator to discuss the FAA’s management of the National Airspace System. On January 24, 2020, Administrator Dixon followed up with a letter U.S. Representative Eleanor Holmes Norton, Co-Chair of the Quiet Skies Caucus, to respond to issues raised by the Caucus at last October’s meeting.
