Culver City Woman’s Club Crochets for Meals on Wheels

The Culver City Woman’s Club recently crocheted many lap blankets, afghans and scarves as gifts for some of the recipients of the Culver Palms Meals on Wheels program. CPMOW provides nutritious meals at an affordable price to people who are confined to their homes because of illness, accident, convalescence or age.

Shown with the items are, from left to right, Pam Frieden, Director of the Culver-Palms Meals on Wheels program, and Culver City Woman’s Club members Judi Chamberlin, Jean Lyon and Cecelia Boskin.

The CCWC is one of the oldest social and philanthropic organizations in Culver City, and supports several local charities. For additional information about the club please call Barbara at 310-391-2098.
