At the City Council meeting scheduled for November 18, 2019, the council will hear a report on the implementation of the Interim Rent Control Ordinance (IRCO).
The City Council will also consider approvals of consultants for a study for long-term rent control policies, communications, and a residential rental registration system. Finally, the City Council will give direction on whether to do a fee study to recover costs for landlord registration, and provide direction on a budget amendment for these and additional IRCO related expenses.
