Joanne Hovis to Speak on “Broadband: Strategies & Opportunities”

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 at 6:30 pm, Culver City will welcome Joanne Hovis for a presentation on ‘Broadband: Strategies & Opportunities.’ Hovis, President of CTC Technology & Energy and CEO of the Coalition for Local Internet Choice (CLIC), will discuss how the public sector can build strategy and opportunity for public-private partnerships in broadband. Opportunities for Culver Connect, the City’s municipal fiber network project facilitating high-speed data connectivity to Culver City businesses, will be examined.

As a part of the city’s General Plan Update, the Speaker Series is  In coordination with this effort, the City is hosting an exciting Speaker Series to discuss critical issues affecting the City, the region, and beyond.
