Save a life—donate at the blood drive on July 18. The Red Cross, the Culver Palms United Methodist Church, and Culver-Palms Y are hosting a blood drive on Thursday, July 18, 1pm–7pm in the Fellowship Hall at the Church, just across the drive from us. Sign up online today to donate at our drive.
Over the week of July 4, blood and platelet donations dropped, and finding new blood donors was especially difficult. As a result, the inventory of most blood types plummeted to only three days supply, and the Red Cross has issued an emergency call for blood and platelet donors.

The easiest way to make an appointment is to go to the Red Cross Donation Page, and type the code, culverpalms, in the red box “Find A Blood Drive” in upper right of the page. That will take you to Culver Palms United Methodist Church location. Click on “See Times” and choose one of the times listed that fits your schedule. You’ll then be asked to create an account if you don’t already have one.
If you have questions about requirements and donating, send an email to [email protected] or stop by the Front Desk at the Y. You’ll find information on flyers and a chance to register on a sign up sheet. Registering online is preferable, however, because you’ll have first chance at a time slot.
Walk ins on July 18 will be accepted, but donors with an appointment will be honored first.
The Red Cross, the Methodist Church, CPY and the Culver Palms community will be deeply grateful for your participation in our blood drive.
