Bass to Hold Hearing On California’s Criminal Justice Reforms; Potential for the Country

Congresswoman Karen Bass, as a member of the Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security will be holding a hearing at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the FAME Renaissance Center 1968 West Adams Los Angeles, 90018 on the topic of  ‘California Criminal Justice Reform: Potential Lessons for the Nation.’

After the dozen bills passed last year in California on criminal justice reform,  Bass will preside over a panel to discuss how these policies, implemented nationally, could effect change in the justice system.
