CC Speaker Series – Randy Shaw on Housing Affordability

For the third event in this series, Culver City and Antioch University Los Angeles team up on June 19 2019 to welcome Randy Shaw, Executive Director of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic, San Francisco’s leading provider of housing for homeless single adults. Shaw’s new book, Generation Priced Out: Who Gets to Live in the New Urban America, highlights the pricing out of a new generation of working and middle-class residents from the nation’s most progressive cities. Shaw offers a roadmap for cities to end exclusionary land use policies and build the infill housing necessary to expand affordability and combat climate change. Join us on June 19 to learn what Culver City can do to reverse social and racial inequity and to expand its housing opportunities. A book signing will follow Shaw’s talk.
