The Actors’ Gang Play Reading. Wednesday, June 5 at 6 pm. This month the Gang will be reading selections from master playwright Bertolt Brecht’s short plays and monologues. Often called “tales of horror,” these pieces have tragic undertones yet are also infused with farce and comic irony. As is typical of the work of past master playwrights, Brecht’s pieces still resonate today.
