The Culver City Farmer’s Market has more than delicious food to offer; bring the kids for a hands-on workshop to plant seedlings in a biodegradable egg carton. Market staff will provide the egg cartons and soil and walk kids through the process of planting. Seeds provided by the @City of Culver City Department of Public Works. You get to take home fresh produce, happy kids and a small seedling of spring! It’s a win-win-win.
No cash on hand? No worries! Go to the information booth and swipe some plastic to get some ‘market chips.’ You can get $5 or $10 chips to spend at any farmer’s market booth.
Culver City Farmer’s Market is on Tuesday from 3 to 7 on Main Street downtown.
