Join in Culver City’s 14th annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This January, the City is hosting three events as a part of its MLK Celebration.
On Jan.18, 2019 the film “I am MLK, Jr.” will screen twice; first from 12:30 to 2 pm, and again from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Culver City Senior Center. On Saturday, Jan 19, the “Celebration of King” will feature actor Gerald C. Rivers as Dr. King, in addition to a presentation by the Youth Leadership Workshop, and a presentation by the winers of the CCUSD Student Essay Contest from noon until 3 pm.
The Senior Center is located at 4095 Overland Ave.
