February 21, 2018, CCPD officers received a call of subjects stealing mail near Slauson Avenue and Buckingham Parkway. Additionally, the officers were advised that the suspects was seen entering a white sport type vehicle. l
Officers were able to locate the vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop. All five occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without incident.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located several items of evidence. All five suspects were arrested and booked for mail theft.
