The Culver City Education Foundation(CCEF) has received two generous donations to kick-off our fundraising efforts for CCUSD’s new Makerspaces; engaging places where students will build, explore and discover in a very creative, hands-on way. A Makerspace pilot program is being launched this fall at Farragut and El Rincon elementary schools, with the expectation that the program will later expand to all of our elementary schools.
Many thanks to Mary and Mark Stevens ($10,000) and to Wally Marks ($10,000) for once again stepping up in support of our CCUSD students! Their gifts will help our district equip the first Makerspaces. Raising funds so that we can eventually create Makerspaces at all of our CCUSD elementary schools will be a major focus for CCEF’s fundraising efforts during this school year. We hope you’ll join us in this exciting new venture by donating today. Go to ccef.org
