Join the festivities for 100 Years of Fashion and Music on Sunday, January 22, 2:30-5:30 pm at The Culver Hotel. The Culver City Centennial Committee and CCUSD Council PTA will present “100 Years of Fashion…and Music” on Harry Culver’s actual birthday, Sunday, January 22. This fantastic event will feature authentic period pieces from 1917-2017, a history of fashion through the ages, accompanied by quintessential musical hits from each decade, and a couple of surprises that will be the talk of this town. The event is a fundraiser for CCUSD’s Backpack for Kids, a Culver City Council of PTA’s program that enables CCUSD students who would otherwise not have enough to eat on weekends to take a backpack filled with food home with them every Friday of the school year. Currently, more than 100 backpacks are being filled every week. The price of a ticket helps feed about 6 families per weekend or a single family for 6 weeks.
In addition to the fashion show, there will be a live auction to bid on experiences with Culver City elected officials. Light refreshments served before the show.
