The ‘backpacks’ program discreetly provides nutritious, child-friendly, easy to fix food to chronically hungry children. The food is packed into backpacks for children to take home over the weekends during the school year.

From now until Dec. 9 we are holding a district wide food drive to help us stock up the pantry. We are seeking donations of the following which can be dropped off at the Culver City Middle School:

Granola or Cereal Bars
Individual packets of Oatmeal
Wrapped Crackers (e.g. Ritz)
Mac and Cheese (7.25 oz boxes)
Fruit Cups (individual servings, eg. Dole, Del Monte)
Ramen
Peanut Butter (12 oz or 16 oz in plastic jars)
Pasta (1lb. package)

Alternatively, please help us raise money to carry the program forward this year and into the next. We developed three ways of giving including monthly subscription.
