Want to know more about the Culver City based United States Veterans Artists Alliance? You don’t even have to leave the couch. On Friday, November 4th at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 5th at 5 p.m. the SoCal PBS program LAaRT will be featuring the organization in honor of Veterans Day and Veterans in the Arts and Humanities Day 2016.
Producer and host Maria Hall-Brown and the LAaRT team put together a fantastic segment highlighting the USVAA Veterans Writing Workshop and The Last Sunday: An Evening of Poetry and Art. Moving forward, the show focuses on the extraordinary work and eclectic mix of individual USVAA writers, poets, artists, photographers and actors and serves as a wonderful Veterans Day tribute to those veterans currently engaged in the arts, humanities and entertainment industry throughout the United States and beyond.
