In California, your deadline for registering to vote is October 24th. As you likely know, voter turnout is tragically low in our country. In fact, during the last Presidential election, just over 57% of eligible voters cast their ballots. We can and must do better for our communities this year!
While those of us who vote in every election might feel we can rest on our laurels, it’s never a bad idea to make sure you are correctly registered to vote. If you have moved, changed your name or your party affiliation you must reregister. Remind you family and friends, every vote matters.
Go to www.vote.org and remind anyone in your community – it only takes a moment. Voter turnout will be crucial.
