This Saturday, July 30, Duquesne Avenue between Jefferson Boulevard and Lucerne Avenue will be closed from 9AM to 5PM to through traffic. All American Asphalt will be reconstructing a portion of Duquesne Avenue between Jefferson Boulevard and Ballona Creek. Four changeable message signs were strategically positioned to advise motorists of the road closure. Detour signs will be installed on the adjacent streets advising motorists how to get to Culver Boulevard or Jefferson Boulevard. Transportation Department staff will access their facility from the Jefferson Blvd. gate. City of Angels Vets will have access only to their Jefferson Boulevard driveway. Signs will be posted advising their customers to use the Jefferson Bl. driveway. Police and Fire can still go through the road closure for emergencies.
