How many Culver City residents make all or part of their living off the creative economy? How many programs do we have teaching our children to sing, paint, dance, build robots and write code? How many members of your family attend the symphony, the theater, go to museums, and movies?
The Los Angeles County Arts Commission presents a town hall in the City of Culver City for the cultural equity and inclusion initiative. Think of it as an idea festival.
How has arts and culture been a part of your life? How do we make sure there is access for all? Attend a town hall and join the conversation on diversity, equity and inclusion in arts and culture in our communities. You will help shape the future of the arts in Los Angeles County.
Town halls are a part of a large, inclusive process designed to develop recommendations resulting in ways to enhance the participation and leadership of individuals from underrepresented communities in the arts. Learn more at artsequityla.com.
Town halls are FREE but attendees are encouraged to RSVP at artsequityla.com. Food will be provided and everyone is welcomed to attend as many town halls as they like.
