Taste of Washington West – October 17

TasteOfWWCulver City’s Washington West Business District, a unique collection of artisan restaurants, creative businesses, specialty retail and services, will be hosting its first annual Taste of Washington West on Saturday, October 17, 2015 happening from 4 to 7 PM.

The event will feature a variety of complimentary tastings and drink specials from ten area restaurants hailed by LA Eater as “the most compelling restaurant row in this part of town.” The event will include an art show showcasing new and distinguished artists as well as live entertainment, including the El Marino Language School Rainbow Taiko drummers, music by Acoustic Shadow and Danny Sandock and a chef talk with Hatchet Hall’s Brian Dunsmoor.

For those looking to focus on fitness and food, Kinesis will be offering complimentary classes every 15-minutes, including Pilates reformer, yoga and TRX beginning at 4:15. The event will begin with a “kid’s happy hour” at 3:00 PM with face painting and balloon creations at A Magic Forest, a Halloween-themed photo booth at Art Printer and fishing for yo-yo’s at Sunny Blue.

The event will be on West Washington Blvd. between Centinela Avenue Wade Street. Guests are encouraged to bike, walk, or carpool to event and avoid parking in the adjacent residential areas.
