Nickelodeon and Westfield have partnered on a Nick Jr. Play Date Tour this fall, inviting kids and families to come and play with their favorite preschool characters at various centers throughout the U.S.! The Nick Jr. Play Date Tour brings hit shows including PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines and Shimmer and Shine to life through exciting activities with interactive components—creating an unforgettable play date for Westfield guests. Families will also have the chance to meet and greet Dora (Dora and Friends) and Gil from Bubble Guppies. See the meet and greet schedule and RSVP information, below—the first 100 to RSVP will avoid the line.
The Nick Jr. Play Date Tour will stop at Westfield Culver City Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 from 10a.m. – 4 p.m. Upon arrival, families will receive a Play Date “passport” to guide them through various activity stations and encourage them to collect stamps at each as they travel from one to the next. Stations include:
Blaze and the Monster Machines – Climb into a life-sized Blaze monster truck and “drive Blaze” on a racetrack, avoiding obstacles along the way.
Shimmer and Shine – Ride Shimmer and Shine’s flying carpet through their magical world with the help of 3D displays.
PAW Patrol – Complete a “mini-mission” to collect a passport stamp while waiting in line to climb up PAW Patrol Lookout tower and slide down in victory!
Nick Jr. GIF & Greet Station – Pose in front of a vivid and colorful backdrop to create a moving photo with Dora and Gil costume characters.
LeapFrog Demo Areas – Test out LeapFrog’s PAW Patrol Imagicard downloadable game (ages 3-5) and the all new LeapPad Platinum tablet at special demo tables. Kids can join Ryder and the PAW Patrol as they lend a paw for Adventure Bay Appreciation Week, and unleash mathematics and problem-solving skills to earn Good Citizen badges. LeapFrog Imagicard™ is a first-of-its-kind digital and physical learning experience for kids that magically brings characters and learning to life with the snap of a picture from one of 30+ interactive collectible cards included.
Team up with Blaze and AJ to save the Monster Dome on LeapFrog’s LeapTV educational gaming system. Blaze and the Monster Machines put science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills in motion for kids (ages 3-5). Children get up and moving to become part of the experience with monster truck-size adventures and a chance to race against a friend.
