CCEF Thanks Culver City Sippers for Fun Fundraiser

456The Culver City Education Foundation (CCEF) would like to thank all who attended last Saturday night’s SIP for our Schools Event and made it such a memorable evening. Special thanks to Rachlin Partners for letting us turn their business space into our party place for the evening (not to mention the complimentary valet parking). Their generosity helped make possible an intimate gathering under the stars for about 200 supporters of our Culver City schools. Members of our school, city and business communities were all well represented, intermingling amid the wine and beer tastings, the scrumptious bites, the incomparable music and the endless conversation.

For the delicious sliders and lettuce wraps, our thanks go to our friends at Public School 310. Thanks too, for the delectable desserts that came from Sarie Solomon and from Mama Gold’s Desserts.

But the heart of the evening was the music, played by our own CCHS AVPA Jazz Combo.452 Supporting our students is what CCEF is all about, and there can be no better example of the extraordinary heights our students can reach when we join as a community to support them than our CCHS AVPA Jazz Combo. They played everything from standards to ‘Time Warp’ to original compositions. And they played it all with a musicianship and a camaraderie that brought smiles to every face.

CCEF is proud to support our Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA) as well as music programs throughout our school district. We are proud to support all of our students in their many endeavors, and we hope you’ll join us. Just go to ccef.org/donate.
