This Saturday, Public Works Environmental Programs and Operations will be hosting a California Friendly Landscaping Training with G3 Educators and West Basin. At the class, learn to create a California friendly garden using the latest sustainable materials and techniques. if you have an interest and would like to attend, please contact us to hold a spot for you.

Course covers use of: native plants and edibles
water-efficient irrigation devices (drip irrigation, “smart” sprinkler controllers)
rainwater capture and permeable materials
on-site water retention to reduce water and pollution to the ocean
