Just in time for the holidays the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center is pleased to host an exhibit and sale of the work of Culver City resident, artist and author Francia Turner Fate. The event will be on Saturday, November 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 5502 Sawtelle Blvd. Francia will donate 25% of sales to the Friends group to help support the services provided by the Health Center. For the past ten years Francia has donated a selection of her fine art to the Health Center’s annual fundraiser. The children of Culver City have benefited from her continuing support and generosity.
Francia is an award winning author and artist who has exhibited her work throughout the United States, Britain, South America and Australia. A variety of her unique pieces will be displayed featuring her children’s books, boldly designed art glass jewelry, and fine art. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind creation or to give a very special gift during the holidays and help the Health Center continue its valuable work.
The Health Center is located on the campus of Culver City High School and Middle School. Free physical and mental health services are provided to children living in Culver City or attending Culver City schools. The nonprofit Center is supported through grants and donations. The Friends group serves as the fundraising arm of the Health Center. For more information about the Center or this special event call Andy at 310-837-5012 or Diana at 310-839-0862.
