School Board member Nancy Goldberg will be the featured speaker at the next LWV meeting. Please note that, due to remodeling of the Julian Dixon Culver City Public Library, the League of Women Voters Culver City Unit will be meeting in the Culver City Senior Center Conference Room for however long it takes.This is a wonderful facility, and the Center’s hospitality is much appreciated.
If you are CCSC member, be sure to hang your parking permit from your rear view mirror. If you are NOT a member, please park at Vets or on the street.
LWV Los Angeles’ other Units will have November programs on education, which to THEM means LAUSD. We are more interested in CCUSD — especially in the week following the School Board election. CCUSD Board incumbent Nancy Goldberg will be joining us for a look back at the election. She will need to be a little bit late, but that will give us time to formulate some juicy questions for her.
