Wednesday October 9 at 3:00pm will be the first LWV Culver City Unit meeting at the Culver City Senior Center (4095 Overland Ave., at the corner of Culver Blvd). People will gather just inside the back door and proceed together to the conference room.
Most of the Units of LWV Los Angeles are not meeting separately in October. Instead, they are sending their members and friends to a special program on the Affordable Care Act (aka ‘Obamacare’) on the morning (westside) or afternoon (valley) of Thursday October 17.
Our local program on October 9 will consist of Voter Service for the November 5 CCUSD School Board election. We will watch and discuss the DVD of the LWV/PTA Candidate Forum held at City Hall on October 3.
If you missed the forum or are interested in watching it again, this is a great venue to do so.
