Big Sunday @ CCMS – May 5

Come help this Sunday (May 5) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as Culver City Middle School celebrates “Big Sunday” with a campus-wide clean-up effort. Volunteers from CCMS will join 200 volunteers from Turning Point School to help beautify the campus at 4601 Elenda Street.

Bring the kids, bring the grandparents – it’s a great way to give back to our wonderful community and work side by side with another Culver City school.

Stay an hour or all day, volunteers will be working from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Big Sunday is the largest regional community service event in America! As many as 50,000 volunteers across Los Angeles and beyond come together to work on great volunteer projects and spread the spirit of community service and community building.

This year, Turning Point School, located here in Culver City, is sending over 200 volunteers to join CCMS and do some gardening, paint sealing, classroom cleaning ,crafts and more. Kids of all ages will be given a fun, volunteer task. So, please bring your garden gloves and tools. Turning Point is also sponsoring a book sale at the front of the school with the proceeds going to the American Red Cross to benefit victims of the recent tragedy in West Texas.
