The Culver City Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency is hosting a drop off point. The purpose of this National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is to provide a venue for persons who want to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs.
Keeping drugs out of the groundwater and the landfill is an important (and often overlooked ) means of taking care of waste properly. Don’t flush anti-depressants or antibiotics; this is the time to take them in.
All you have to do is drive by and drop off the unwanted prescription drugs and no questions asked.
The event will take place on April 29, 2013 from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm in front of the Culver City Police Department located at 4040 Duquesne Avenue.
