How can you make some delicious, easy plans to make the Culver City Library even more wonderful? Menchies is the place on March 17! The Culver City Friends of the Library are developing plans for some upcoming renovations to the Culver City Julian Dixon library. This“face lift” will be a great way to celebrate the upcoming library centennial, in 2015. While funds are available for much of the planned furniture purchases, they will be doing some fund raising to make up the shortfall.
A fund raising kickoff get-together is planned for Sunday, March 17 at 2 pm at Menchie’s (5622 Sawtelle Blvd,Culver City) .
This will not only be an opportunity to have some delicious frozen yogurt, but also to see some pictures and some plans and hear about the exciting things in store for the library. If you can’t make it to the fund-raiser, Menchies has graciously offered to give a percentage of sales on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (March 17, 18, and 19).
More information and the flyer for the event are available at ccfol.org.
Don’t forget to print out a copy of the flyer, and see you at Menchies!
