We need more art! Art needs more support! Make the world a more beautiful place and get your creative aspirations off to a running start; Artists working solo or with a group can get some valuable info for free on Saturday, January 26 from 10 am – 1 pm at the Arts Tune- Up.
Arts Tune-Up is a FREE one-day event offering expert advice, consultation and information to individual artists and small budget arts organizations looking to gain insight on a variety of topics ranging from arts education, marketing, and publicity, to board development, fundraising and health insurance.
The Tune-Up provides free access to seasoned arts management professionals and is designed around an informal round-robin process in which participants visit five expert discussions and topic presentations. Scheduled topics include arts education in-school resources and working in arts education (K-12), effective self-promotion for artists, fundraising, marketing, publicity, production 101 and opportunities at the Ford, board leadership for challenging times, understanding health insurance and healthcare reform.
