Celebrate the season of goodwill at the annual Downtown Culver City Lighting of the Holiday Tree Ceremony, presented by the Downtown Business Association and the City of Culver City. See Santa Claus as he makes a very special visit all the way from the North Pole. There will be hot cider, hot cocoa and festive treats to make everyone feel merry, plus performances by local choirs and appearances by the Mayor and city council members. Culver City makes this holiday celebration “green” and energy efficient, lighting a 22-foot artificial tree with LED lights. Stay afterwards for a spin on the outdoor Holiday Ice Rink and dinner at one of Downtown Culver City’s many restaurants, or take a stroll down the boulevards.
We encourage visitors to carpool to the event and either valet park, or park for 2 hours free in one of our 3 available public parking structures; the Ince structure near Trader Joe’s is preferred. Please do not park in downtown’s residential neighborhoods.
